What Icebreakr is

Icebreakr is a Chrome extension and supporting web service that helps you draft personalized outreach messages on LinkedIn. We fetch public profile data via third-party APIs, combine it with the profile you give us, and use AI to write a draft message you can send.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher).
• One person, one account. Don't share credentials.
• You're responsible for what you send. Icebreakr drafts messages but you choose to send them.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use Icebreakr to:

• Send spam, abusive content, or misleading impersonation.
• Scrape LinkedIn directly. Icebreakr uses third-party data providers; we do not interact with LinkedIn's DOM.
• Reverse-engineer the service or rate-limit-bypass our APIs.
• Violate any law in your jurisdiction or LinkedIn's terms of service.

We rate-limit certain operations (research, message generation) per account and globally per day. Limits exist to keep the service usable for everyone and to protect our third-party API budgets.

Pricing

Icebreakr is currently free while in early access. When we introduce paid plans, we'll give existing users at least 30 days' notice and clear pricing before any charge.

Disclaimer

Icebreakr is provided "as is". We don't guarantee the messages we draft will get a reply, that third-party data is accurate, or that the service will be available 100% of the time. We try, but no warranty.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0 for early-access users).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email and a banner on the site. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect counts as acceptance.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service; we'll usually warn you first unless the abuse is severe (spam, fraud, etc.).
